Ok, to make my debut memorable, I wrote an LHC limerick:

A collider in Geneva and France
makes protons swirling to dance
the point of the matter
is not making them flatter
but changing the physicists' stance

That's a great limerick, but I'm having a little trouble with the line:

"is not to make them flatter".

It seems smoother if I say:

"is not making them flatter".
