Hi,I will be short...Why the LHC don't use high temperature for the particule accelerator?They are using "cold matter" in cold vacum...If we think...seconds after the Big Bang were all the "strange" and "exotic" matter exists the temperature was very high,they are using the matter formed when the Universe start to cool down...I think they should really heat things up..

High temperature of what?

You cannot create a macroscopic amount of matter hot enough to simulate the conditions in the early universe. High-energy collisions are the only option. In those collisions you have the conditions similar to the early universe.

Heat is essentially kinetic energy of individual particles randomly distributed throughout the bulk of matter. From that point of view, each particle collision in LHC is similar to what happens when two particles of extremely hot matter interact with each other, exchanging their energy. Extremely large magnetic fields and a tube 27 km in circumference is the smallest object we can create to keep particles of such energy in place, we can't keep them in anything smaller.
