LHC portal

I have been reading the forum and viewing the progress of the LHC for several months so I finally decided to join and post. Congratulations on a great forum and I appreciate CERN and the portal owners for making all the information available. I find myself going to the acronyms a lot to figure out what all the information means. It is pretty exciting to watch the machine ramp up to higher energies. I can't wait until the experimentation phase is underway.
