Hello everybody

I was just searching for some new CERN sites to be included within my status displays (to be found here: http://home.halifax.rwth-aachen.de/~mrongen) when I hit upon this awesome site. Joint the forum, installed an IRC-client...

Some details about myself:
I'm a physics student (undergraduate) at the RWTH Aachen (Germany).
In August 2008 I had the chance to do a one week internship in a CERN laboratory working on the scintillator crystals for the CMS electromagnetic calorimeter and even made a visit to the CMS cavern. :D

Looking forward to a wild LHC run in 2010
