Stephen all i can say to try and help (I am like this too), is that fear feeds fear, you need to break the cycle and allow yourself to start living again, without the cloud of "lhc" over your head.

It isnt easy but there is no quick fix things take time

I really don't know where your stranglet at 4Tev came from but according to all known realised theories LHC is less likley to produce them (0) than RHIC which has been running for 10 years without any being made, this is due to the fact the LHC is hotter in the collision area than RHIC and stranglet...
