Man it sure is taking a long time for the bunch trains to be commissioned. It looks like they are almost done though :) and we should see stable beams next week (hopefully). Just reading the progress reports really shows you how complicated the LHC is. It is impressive that they are able to make so ...

atlas has recorded just over 200 billion collsions! i know they need alot more than that for new physics but that has to be good for something.

it looks like the LHC had a good week lots and lots of collisions. Atlas almost has 10 billion recorded so far!

does anyone know if the events in the ATLAS live display, are minimun bias events or the ones that pass though the high level triggers.
