I'm having some crash issues with Firefox 3.6. There are some reports of people reverting to 3.5.7/3.5.8 because of crashing, but the only place I've noticed it is on the LHCPortal site.
Using the links in the left frame (I usually jump right into "Progress" and "Page 1" every day) seems to crash Firefox about 20-30% of the time.
Anyone else having issues, or is this just me/my box?
Issues with Firefox 3.6?
Re: Issues with Firefox 3.6?
Nope, not broken the site for me.
Re: Issues with Firefox 3.6?
Are you running 3.6? I didn't have any issues here prior to the 3.6 update.
Re: Issues with Firefox 3.6?
Updated it just to check for you
Re: Issues with Firefox 3.6?
Well, thank you for the effort. Guess I'm just have a one-off issue here.
Edit: Rats, just happened again. This is the Mozilla crash report:

Re: Issues with Firefox 3.6?
Nope, FFX 3.6 works fine for me so far. Could it be related to some plugin you are running? When I upgraded to 3.6 there was an announcement that some plugins were not yet verified as being fully compatible with 3.6.
BTW I am running NoScript and not much else. So far I haven't found any other plugins / extensions that do stuff that I'd consider essential.

All I have is AdBlock Plus, and I notice the !*@^!#& Microsoft .NET Framework snuck back on with the update.
I'll try it again in Safe Mode (disables all AddOns) before complaining any more.
Thanks for looking.

Ayep, got that one too. Never installed it and since I use FFX for a reason (want to be in control of what my comp does) I'm also pretty p@#$ed off about it.PsaltyDS wrote:...and I notice the !*@^!#& Microsoft .NET Framework snuck back on with the update.
Maybe ... erm ... Linux?
