yeah, I saw the lhcsound site... what I've been doing is similar to what they call "sweeping the detector" - at least in how I read data from the ATLAS image.

I feel that we need a beat........with the collisions/pumps/alarms/magnets etc superimposed on it. Maybe based on the beam circulation frequency?
