As long as Tevatron or LHC didn't produce the Haiti-earthquake everything is still OK. ;)

Catchy, simple title for Earthquake project? So my little brother is doing a science fair project on earthquakes and we were looking for a catchy title but couldn't think of one...any ideas?

How strong of an earthquake does it take to leave a mark on the geological record? We can tell when there were major earthquakes in history by looking at the shifts in layers of rock and soil - but earthquakes happen all the time, mostly small. So how strong must an earthquake be before it leaves noticeable geological evidence?
