Let's start the publicity machine ...
Collider hopes for a 'super' restart
"A senior researcher at the Large Hadron Collider says a new particle could* be detected this year that is even more exciting than the Higgs boson."

Isn't it a bit lame for trying to reach the headlines with this, while Super Symmetry is now generally considered as a failure.
The Rise and Fall of Supersymmetry
"At this point, the theoretical hoops being jumped through to keep SUSY “viable” (and yes, that belongs in air quotes) given our experimental null results are getting progressively more and more extravagant. I’m not much of a betting man, but if I were, I’d say that SUSY is already dead."

* A weasel word is an informal term for words and phrases aimed at creating an impression that a specific and/or meaningful statement has been made, when only a vague or ambiguous claim has been communicated. - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weasel_word

It's always ultimately the media people who decides what will and what won't make a headline.
Being natural result of evolution in communication with/through media, it's widespread knowledge that you won't get publicity unless you claim a breakthrough or global doom.
Belief in correctness of SUSY is matter of personal preference. Its parameter space certainly isn't exhausted yet.

Where then?
To quote Ethan:
"Not finding them should falsify all claims of TeV-scale SUSY"
... are you talking way beyond the LHC?
