Apparently they decided the ULO is not big enough to hinder beam operation. The only thing that can go wrong is that it will cause so much radiation when touched that it will quench the magnet it is in, but that appears not to happen with the beams they tried until now.
As a precaution, they steer the beam away from it by 3mm.
It could become more of a problem when intensity is higher, but so far it seems OK.
The ULO is stable even when heated or after a ramp.
I couldn't find any information if they are planning to remove it; maybe not until the next long shutdown.

There is a LBOC-Meeting this afternoon and it seems to be planned partly about the ULO.

Slides should appear here:

The presentation is there, but it is not very conclusive...

Can be a micro black hole or something dangerous?

No, it is just some*thing* that is lying there, could be just a pieces of scrap metal or something like a lose screw, it has got nothing to do with particle collisions, it has laid itself there before the machine actually started.

Double D I suggest you to read the other posts in this thread ... because it's all been discussed.

The MUFO stands for "Mega Unknown Falling Object", which is probably some dust falling down the tube, that gets hit by the high energy photons resulting in a spray of particles that set off the detectors.
The ULO is something lying in the tube, which might be a heap of dust of a few mm high.
The biggest danger here is a premature beam dump or a magnet quench.
Micro black holes live for a fraction of a second and do not cause any danger or damage.
