I sent them all email !.. Well the CERN guys I have been emailing that is...
They are were obviously too wore out to even respond !
There were a whole list of firsts...
I would expect a press conference this morning from CERN... Im too tired to look for it...
You guys who are just waking up should go find it... It will most likely be live..
Im goingto bed... Dont feel bad March_Hare.. This is the first time I have been able to catch a live event in a long time... It seems I had to work during every other live event...

No worries, I was only joking.
Nothing travels faster than the speed of light with the possible exception of bad news, which obeys its own special laws.

After missing yesterday 4 bunches beams and collisions due to exhaustion I'm now back to business, only to find out the hiccups seem to be getting worse today!
"all sectors tripped"
"investigating..."
Grrr, I'm tired of witnessing live hiccups.

yeahhh, me too. but..you have to consider..higher energies/intensities/more bunches will definitely test their equipment.. so yeah. :} there will be hiccups.

Preparing to inject !
I am pretty proud of my new layout for monitoring the LHC... I found another crummy laptop just good enough to use for monitoring things... So im up to 5 computers...
Not quite the 6 required to be a CERN collaborator, but hey, im poor...
They kinda took over my workbench...

Another Cryogenics problem...... Thank Goodness for this commissioning period, they can work out all of the kooks and errors by Christmas so that when the real meat and potatoes come in after the break, it can go down much smoother.
