Hi

Post by BenM » Mon Dec 07, 2009 4:51 pm

Just a quick hello to you all....

I have had an interest in particle physics for ages (20+ years). My maths isn't up to much so I am at a coffee table book level of knowledge however one daughter is quite a mathematician and wants to be a particle physicist when she is older (12 now so a few years left to change her mind!) so I better start brushing up my maths (as opposed to arithmetic)

BenM Trivia: a current colleague of mine, who worked at CERN on the LEP for a few years a while ago, wrote the software (still) driving the CPS monitoring screen. He was chuffed to see it still in use and working.

B.
