I used the example of the mosquito because someone came up with a human tissue analogy. For you I will use the example of generating combustion with a loupe (magnifying glass) by concentrating a bunch of photons into one place. The lhc concentrates collisions in a tiny spot, at a rate of about 10^27 times more than what happens on the edge of our atmosphere in a moving volume of m^2, what do you think.
I'd say they should do a test with a large funnel hanging out off the ISS, or on the moon and concentrate/accelerate a beam of protons on matter, would it start to combust?
