Mind someone explaining me what does "YOK" mean? Babylon Turkish-English Dictionary no, not, nope, nay away ain't absent, unavailable Turkish English Dictionary (M. Yildiz) "nonexistent, absent, lacking; nonexistence, nothing; no; there is not, there are not" Dov Sounds lke you're describing the su...

Re: Why Dark Matter And Energy YOK

Are we discussing religion, or science? From one of my elsewhere posts: Again and again, ad absurdum: Since the 1920s SCIENCE is suppressed by a Technology Culture, tightly supervised by a religious old style trade union , the AAAS… Liberate Your Mind From Concepts Dictated By The Religious Trade-U...

Re: Why Dark Matter And Energy YOK

For the big-bang singularity to occur all the elementary particles of the universe must become inert at all interparticles distance zero. For this to occur the smallest feasible mass-energy gravitons are commonsensical. Common sense is the best scientific approach... Dov http://universe-life.com/ H...

Thanks Harbles, only just noticed this. Probably not the most challenging schedule to put together ;-)

Re: Why Dark Matter And Energy YOK

Your theory as explained seems to revolve heavily around the graviton. Since this is currently a hypothetical object your theory can be no more than hypothetical.

Re: 5 sigma Higgs !!!

Higgs is a name and thereby spelled capital, bosun is already a thing and thereby spelled with a small "b". I only hope that Higgs ever gets the same credit like Bose that the will call this particle just a higgs with small "h" insted of Higgs boson, I guess thats still a long way to go, but I insi...

Re: 5 sigma Higgs !!!

Please do respond and prove me wrong. I accpet the challenge openly & will stand corrected if proved wrong. Prove you wrong ? How ? You haven't presented any facts. You say you are a scientist, well be scientific and present us with some facts to back your assertions. The only thing you have presen...

Re: Active Hypercycle acronym angst - 10 Aps ?

I think you're right Chriwi, its the powering rate for the ramp. It's been pretty constant now for a while but they moved up to that level in September 2010 I think. The original ramp was much more sedate.

Re: 5 sigma Higgs !!!

Thats not correct!. boson is a particle that is with a "B" and not a "b". How else can you explain the nomenclature of "boson"? It was derived from the Bose-Einstein condensate theory. The EU scientific community is deliberately playing a racist role in not mentioning this as a Boson. they want to ...

Re: 2012 Events Discussion

So the Hype was deserved it appears. ;) I've heard talk of changing the 2012/2013 schedule to add a few more months of data gathering before Long Stop one. Has anyone seen a revised schedule yet? In his last machine status report presentation, Steve Myers said they had the option to postpone LS1 by...

Re: it's not what gives YOU the mass

This would be the man who started his summing up of the ICHEP presentation with the words "As a layman . . ." Scientists from ATLAS and CMS who were sitting next to him didn't object to his words, so either they agreed or it was some kind of a joke that I didn't get. Correcting your boss in public ...
