I think this is a splash that illuminated the whole outer tracker detector. I do not know if the online reconstruction is then able to find tracks (probably not)

How do I compare two data volume values, i.e. is 1pb^-1 a larger volume of data than 2pb^-1, or vice versa?
Yes, 1 fb^-1 is 1000 pb^-1, and 2 pb^-1 is double the statistic data of a 1 pb^-1 dataset.

To add some more information: All the electronic components of the experiment have implemented a counter which basically counts the number of these buckets that have passed the experiment. This information is send out with the measured data by the electronics upon a trigger (command to read out the ...
