Re: a couple of questions

(...) Finally, where can I get a LHC blueprint so I can build one of my own?.......just kidding about the blueprint :D Why kidding? There are a lot of blueprints on the web, not only at CERN sites. Here is an example from a local university: http://www1b.physik.rwth-aachen.de/~cms/Tracker/Modules/ ...

Re: 666

Where would somebody from 2,000 (or more) years ago even get an inkling of an idea about the science of today? Even 150 years ago, the notion of somebody actually walking on the moon was generally considered ridiculous.

Also, can the beams be held that way...

Re: Discern has been banned

Xymox; it has been my observation that you are very tolerant of the discussions going on here and have imposed few rules to be followed. If someone cannot be civil and adhere to the minimal structure you have requested, there is little you can do other than ban them. Hopefully, this will be rare (or...

Re: WELCOME to my brand new LHC forum

Thanks for the site!!! While I am not a professional scientist I am looking forward to the discussions that are bound to come about from the research being done. Again, thanks for taking your time and energy to create this forum. CDJ
